If you read Harry Potter books, you shoud be familiar with the Pensieve. This stone basin apparatus, covered in mystic runes, with a fluid or gas within, made its first appearance in Book 4 when Harry was waiting at Dumbledore’s office and saw the trial of Barty Crouch Jr. It made a comeback in book 5, when snape borrowed the Pensieve from dubledore for the Occlumency lesson. And by looking at the cover of book 6, it looks like Harry and Dumbledore is looking at something inside the Pensieve.

Dumbledore used this magical object to extract his own memories and place them inside the Pensieve, especially to relieve his mind because at that time his mind was too flooded with information.

What is so special about this ting? Well Pensieve helps you to separate the main problem with less important or even irrelevant problems, so that you can manage and solve your problem effectively.

A good friend is like pensieve, they listen to your problems. Then they help you to objectively separate your main problem with less important problem, which eventually lets you solve your problem effectively.
