Excited to share that my StoryMap paper received an Honorable Mention (top 5% of the submissions) at CHI 2021.

Sofia Kartika and I wrote a Kompas op-ed on how the Bank of Indonesia’s banknotes design that portrays women as traditional dancers failed to accurately represent Indonesian women’s contribution to society. Medium post is also available to read.

Nature article on COVID-19 Vaccines & Racism

In our correspondence article in Nature, we argued how medicine and technology must reckon with historical racism or we risk the COVID-19 vaccine worsening the pandemic disparity. We also provided our expanded arguments on Medium.
